PAYROLL PROCESSOR

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: VP Human Resources
SUPERVISES: None

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position offers support in the functional areas of the Human Resource Department, while providing a high-level of professional HR and customer service for employees of FFBT. Processes all data pertinent to the payroll, including supporting documentation, tax payments, audit trails and permanent employee records. Prepares all necessary supporting documents and reports. Perform a variety of human resources administration functions including, payroll processing; new associate orientation.

DUTIES:
1. Performs all in-house payroll procedures, such as entering automated payroll data, processing employee timesheets, preparing monthly journal 
   
entries, maintaining employee tax deductions and exemptions and monitoring employee data files online, including medical leave, benefits, 
   promotions and terminations
2. Prepare, distribute and track employee performance evaluations
3. Makes salary adjustments online as directed by the VP Human Resources
4. Verifies deposits, receipts and payroll tax filings. Processes labor corrections as needed
5. Prepares and/or verifies submission of governmental reports and tax deposits
6. Assists in preparing and communicating updates of the financial institution employee directory
7. Works closely with the Accounting/Bookkeeping Department to ensure proper employee record maintenance and
    the accuracy of information entered into employee records regarding payroll and benefits


RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to the VP Human Resources for the fulfillment of all duties assigned
2. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with employees,
   
while being proficient with interpersonal relations and communicative skills
3. Must have the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
4. 2-4 years previous experience processing payroll through payroll providers such as PayChex, ADP, etc.
5. Associate Degree in accounting is preferred
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Manage time effectively

3. Repetitive hand and arm movement
