COMMERCIAL LOAN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – TIPTON

DEPARTMENT: Operations
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Sr. VP Commercial Lender
SUPERVISES: None

POSITION SUMMARY:
Accurately assembles proper loan documentation for loan packages, and provides support for our loan processing system. Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Set up & maintains files on each loan; ensuring information is complete and accurate before processing. Provides administrative support to lenders. This position requires extensive customer interaction, and a broad knowledge of all bank products and general operations. Provides exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and requests.

DUTIES:
1. Completion of quarterly educational assignments
2. Compliance with all branch security policies, including but not limited to, proper branch opening and closing (as needed)
3. Assist Loan Officers with processing of loans; making tickets, changing accounts, codes, etc. as needed
4. Gather credit documentation from the customer and their parties in support of the loan approval decision
5. Assure that loans are processed in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
6. Act as primary customer liaison in regards to loan processing
7. Review loan applications for completeness
8. Assist in processing of loan requests – research loans and collateral
9. Process paid notes; mail paid notes to customers and prepare mortgage releases
10. Administratively assist loan officers as needed


RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to Sr. VP Commercial Lender for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities assigned
2. Strong working knowledge of the bank’s lending policies, procedures and documentation requirements
3. Must be able to deal tactfully and efficiently with bank customers in handling problems of a relatively complex nature

1. Normal office environment
2. Extended viewing of computer screens
3. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
4. Repetitive hand and arm movement
