SUPERVISES:  Training Staff (ISR, CSR and Teller) 

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position identifies, coordinates development and education for bank employees. Maintains training programs to enhance technical and management skills, identifies strategic objectives and appropriate budgets and coordinates all learning and development activities.  Provides coordination and direct training and career development programs and initiatives for the entire organization. 
 

DUTIES:

  1. Provide orientation regarding training opportunities to all new staff members
  2. Develop understanding of recurring required education for financial institutions
  3. Investigate additional training resources through various vendors and other financial institutions
  4. Assist various departments with training and development to meet specific departmental goals and objectives (ex.  Security, new product/procedures etc.)
  5. Coordinate program and training schedules with appropriate staff or outside professionals
  6. Maintains record of participants in training sessions and overall training log as appropriate
  7. Work with bank staff to analyze training and development needs and evaluate the effectiveness of different programs
  8. Maintain a firm comprehension of all bank regulations, compliance, operations and products
  9. Online Learning Library
    1. Develop and implement curriculum for all bank employees
    2. Generate all appropriate/requested reports
    3. Suggest and demonstrate new enhancements following new releases/updates
    4. Maintain awareness of all bank regulations and compliance
  10. Recommend yearly training goals
  11. Responsible for performance reviews for department personnel
 RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Responsible to the VP Human Resources for the fulfillment of duties assigned
  2. Will have contact with the customers and public
  3. Good computer skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  5. Should be analytically minded and possess good judgment
  6. Must demonstrate management, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  7. Maintain relationships within the business community including participation with community organizations and community projects
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  1. Normal office environment
  2. Extended viewing of computer screens
  3. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
  4. Repetitive hand and arm movement
  5. Environment may necessitate excessive standing
