 LOAN DOCUMENTATION OFFICER – PERU SQUARE

REPORTS TO:            Chief Operations Officer
SUPERVISES:            Loan Department

 POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversee the daily operations of the Loan Department and personnel. Supervise, train and provide direction to Loan department. Prepare and process loans, which will meet bank and regulatory requirements. This includes the processing of various notes, documents, establishing necessary collateral files and other clerical duties. Verify documentation on all loans. Ensure all departmental activities are completed as scheduled.
 
DUTIES:
  1. Provide supervision of the loan department and their annual reviews
  2. Assist in the overall organization of the loan department
  3. Assist in the daily operations of the loan department
    1. Process participation loans with other institutions
    2. Review participant outgoing wires
    3. Monthly reports to Farmer Mac and Federal Home Loan bank
    4. Process all property taxes (escrow)
    5. Any necessary file maintenance and/or daily reports
    6. Assist in monitoring of flood policies ~ monthly
    7. Quote and process mortgage payoffs
    8. Review all payoffs for equilines and lines of credit
    9. Assist in handling of all non-posted items and payments ~ daily
    10. Providing loan support to other employees
  4. Provide/ assist with any necessary training within the loan department
  5. Provide support of the Fiserv loan system for all First Farmers Bank & Trust employees
  6. Assist in the review process; verifying all necessary documentation for consumer,  commercial and agricultural loans
  7. Fix any payments incorrectly posted
  8. Provide back up support in reviewing all necessary loan reports including EOM balancing
 RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  1. Responsible to the Chief Operations Officer for functions and responsibilities assigned
  2. This position requires attention to detail and accuracy; computer skills, specifically the banks current loan software
  3. Ability to manage effectively and participate in ongoing education is required
  4. Complete understanding of appropriate regulations and ability to work well under deadlines is necessary
 WORKING CONDITIONS:
 
  1. Normal office environment

  3. Repetitive hand and arm movement
