ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

DEPARTMENT: SCI Leasing Group
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTS TO: SCI Leasing Group President
SUPERVISES: None

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position’s primary objective is to originate an acceptable quantity of quality lease transactions. Acceptable quantity is defined as four (4) to six (6) million dollars (equipment cost) or more per year. Quality is defined as transactions with lessees who have a good credit history, acceptable balance sheet ratios, and adequate historical cash flow. Additionally, assistance in the development and of new participating banks, and existing client banks in their designated trade area with a responsibility for improving the level of leasing activity within each of these banks.

DUTIES:
    1. Calling on assigned and developed dealers on a regular basis and educating them about leasing and soliciting their business
    2. Calling on potential customers identified by referral from other customers, dealers, bank officers or our database
    3. Calling on selected banks as possible participants in our Banklease program
    4. Following up on current customers for additional business
    5. Meeting with prospective lessees to present and explain our program
    6. Collecting financial data from applicants and investigating their credit standing
    7. Preparation of credit files for presentation to one of our participating banks
    8. Presentation of credit files top participating banks
    9. Closing of each lease transaction
    10. Aiding in the collection of past due payments for your accounts
    11. Mastery of pricing software on a PC and an HP12C calculator for structuring flexible and creative lease terms
    12. You will be expected to be a part of the creative process within the company


RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Responsible to the President of SCI Leasing Group for the fulfillment of all duties assigned
    2. Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision, articulate ideas clearly and conduct
        
oneself in a manner that instills confidence is desirable
    3. Experience in direct sales experience and an ability to be part salesman, part consultant, and part credit manager

WORKING CONDITIONS:
    1. Normal office environment
    2. Extended viewing of computer screens
    3. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
    4. Repetitive hand and arm movement
    5. Moderate business traveling
