COMMERCIAL LOAN PROCESSOR

DEPARTMENT: Loan
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Commercial Loan Processor Supervisor
SUPERVISES: None

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assembles proper loan documentation for commercial and agricultural loan packages, and provides support for our loan processing system. Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures and commercial loan documentation. Assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy. Maintains and sets up files on each loan and ensures that information is complete and accurate before processing to the loan officer for approval. Provides administrative support to all Commercial/Ag lenders.

DUTIES:
1. Prepare loan documents; prepare tickets, etc. as needed
2. Process credit bureau requests and complete credit references as needed
3. Leases – process payments/new leases; generate weekly and monthly reports for SCI
4. Maintain proper documentation on all FSA loans
5. Assist in processing of loan requests – research loans and collateral
6. Process paid notes; mail paid notes to customers and prepare mortgage releases
7. Assist loan officers as needed; including various administrative tasks
8. Insure proper perfection of security for loans
9. Assist with loan closings
10. Track exception documents and verify receipt thereof
11. Customer transactions-master note draws, transfers, etc.
12. Maintain ticklers


RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to the Commercial Loan Processor Supervisor for the fulfillment of functions assigned
2. Will have contact with customers and FFBT staff on a regular basis
3. Accuracy and attention to detail is required
4. Ability to multitask and stay focused
5. Strong communication and phone skills, confidentiality and basic computer skills are desired
6. Three years commercial loan processing experience required. Experience with software systems such as Navigator, ComplianceOne, Microsoft Office, and Director preferred. Basic Accounting knowledge also preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Normal office environment
2. Extended viewing of computer screens
3. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
4. Repetitive hand and arm movement
