DEBIT CARD PROCESSOR
DEPARTMENT: Operations
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Processing Center Manager
SUPERVISES: None
POSITION SUMMARY:
Handles all phases of debit card operations. Duties include but are not limited to: the processing of both internal and external request for the maintenance of all customer accounts as it pertains to debit card issues. Generating and/or processing all necessary reports and/or maintenance functions, and answering debit calls from the internal offices and from the public while providing exceptional service.
DUTIES:
1. Attendance at monthly Branch Meetings (as needed)
2. Completion of quarterly BAI educational assignments
3. Compliance with all branch security policies, including but not limited to ,proper branch opening and closing (as needed)
4. Order and maintaining branch supplies
5. Back-up Fraud Department (as needed)
6. Filing or scanning of documents
7. Provide quality customer service through knowledge of debit card services
8. Responsible for daily operations of FFBT Debit Card Department; Duties include any ordering, updates and all maintenance to debit cards.
9. Responsible for all customer service inquires about debit card, both from branches and direct customer contact.
10. Research and manage returned debit cards
11. Check daily Reports
12. Assist with Cam Alerts
13. Ordering and maintenance of all debit cards
14. Answering Phones and debit card support emails.
15. Providing exceptional service by greeting all calls with a “smile” processing requests correctly and promptly.
16. Manage and resolve all customer requests for updates, inquiries and any problems either in person or over the phone.
17. Other duties as assigned by management.
RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to the Processing Center Manager for the fulfillment of duties assigned
2. Detailed oriented
3. Skills needed include knowledge of appropriate government regulations, bank products and operations
4. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and interactions with customers,
while being proficient with interpersonal relations and communicative skills
5. Must have the ability to accurately handle transactions and work effectively in a team setting
6. One-Two years of clerical experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Normal office environment
2. Extended viewing of computer screens
3. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
4. Repetitive hand and arm movement
5. Environment may necessitate excessive standing
