LOAN SERVICING PROCESSOR
 
DEPARTMENT: Loans
CLASSIFICATION:  Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Loan Documentation Officer & Assistant Loan Documentation Officer
SUPERVISES:  None
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
Process all work flow in the Loan Servicing Department including; processing, updating and maintenance of any incoming documentation pertaining to all bank loans. Provide customer assistance; to both customers and First Farmers Bank staff. Reporting to Loan Documentation Officer & Assistant Loan Documentation Officer.

DUTIES:
1. Handle customer assistance calls in the Loan Department
2. Assist Loan Officers; making tickets, changing accounts, codes, etc. as needed
3. Assist with payoff requests; both internal and external
4. Process wire payments for participating notes
5. Implement all account maintenance and changes on loans and corresponding note
6. Input and process new loans daily; reviewing for accuracy before scanned
7. Process/make changes on loan system and non-post items daily
8. Assist processing property taxes as statements are received
9. Report monthly SBA payments
10. Report payments and process wires to secondary market
11. Balance General Ledger Accounts daily
12. Perform other duties as assigned
 
RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Responsible to Loan Documentation Officer & Assistant Loan Documentation Officer for the fulfillment of functions assigned
2. Will have contact with customers and co-workers on a regular basis
3. Previous banking (especially loan department) experienced preferred
4. Accuracy and attention to detail is required
5. Strong communication and phone skills, confidentiality and computer skills are desired
6. Strong mathematical aptitude needed
