DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND ADVERTISING - Newly created position within Marketing Department will work in Kokomo, Indiana
 
 DEPARTMENT:      Operations
CLASSIFICATION:  Exempt
REPORTS TO:         Chief Operating Officer
SUPERVISES:          None

POSITION SUMMARY:

Contribute to the growth and profitability of the bank through the marketing, advertising, and support with product development and research of topics which will further FFBT’s market share. Ensure that a marketing and sales awareness prevails bank-wide.
 
DUTIES:
  1. Oversee production, distribution of all advertising materials including but not limited to brochures, posters, annual report, direct mail, print, radio, and website
  2. Oversee, research, negotiate all media advertising contracts and act as liaison to media sales and service including but not limited to radio, newspaper, direct mail, print production, billboards
  3. Oversee production of corporate apparel based branding and marketing
  4. Oversee production of promotional/gift items for branding and marketing
  5. Oversee management advertising compliance archive and advertising policies
  6. Oversee scheduling and budgeting for all community events
  7. Serve as central solicitation point for bank advertising
  8. Serve as a liaison on exterior branch signage and lettering
  9. Review branch internal marketing materials, internal advertising placement, and office merchandising appearance
  10. Measure, monitor and control budget items and expenditures in the areas of advertising & sales.
  11. Follow the guidance outlined within the bank’s mission statement, strategic plan, and operations plans
  12. Ensure that the marketing and business plans/goals of the bank remain in a continual state of progression to meet the ever-changing needs of the bank
  13. Manage budgets and campaign ROI

 

RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Responsible to the Chief Operating Officer for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities assigned 
  2. Will have contact with the customers and public. This contact is to be in a manner that will further enhance the overall marketing efforts of the bank
  3. Excellent oral, written and verbal skills, along with advanced computer proficiency are required
  4. The ability to interact positively with customers and bank associates at all levels, excellent organizational skills, creativity and self-motivation is desired

    3.  Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds       
    4.  Repetitive hand and arm movement
    5.  Moderate business traveling
