INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST – KOKOMO SQUARE

 

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer

SUPERVISES: None

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Information Security analyst (ISA) is responsible for monitoring the Information systems and network for information security threats. Individual will analyze these threats and remediate or recommend ways to mitigate them. ISA will be the primary liaison between bank and the Security Operation Center, VCISO and other security vendors. ISA will be responsible for scheduling vulnerability scans and reviewing and tracking identified vulnerabilities until remediated. ISA will be responsible to review all security systems and alerts for anomalies and then investigate the alerts and anomalies. Reporting any found incidents according to the incident response plan.

 

DUTIES:

  1. Annually help the Information Security Officer conduct an IT Risk Assessment
  2. Daily review of SEIM reports and investigate and anomalies; Investigate and SEIM Alerts
  3. Conduct monthly Vulnerability Scans of the IT environment
  4. Review the following on a quarterly basis:
    1. I-Series PFTs for changes
    2. I-Series System Values for changes
    3. I-Series Compliance Monitor reports for issues
    4. Active Directory Group memberships for issues
    5. All administrative accounts on Active Directory, Network Devices and on the I-Series for issues
    6. List of Fedline users
    7. Firewall rules for issues
    8. Wire exchange users and approvers
  5. Assist with Vendor Management as needed
  6. Assist with Annual Information Security and Incident Response training as needed
  7. Other tasks as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Responsible to the Chief Information Officer for fulfillment of duties assigned
  2. Working knowledge of client/server networks and security tools to test and evaluate existing security issues, and a general familiarity with general business software is required
  3. The ability to prioritize tasks, have strong interpersonal skills and willingness to have a flexible schedule desired
  4. Ongoing education and training are essential
  5. College degree and/or 3 to 5 year’s experience preferred
  6. Strong general banking experience to include banking regulations, specifically security and compliance regulations
  7. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
  8. Thorough understanding of federal and state agency security requirements
  9. Thorough understanding of Bank policies and procedures
